Summer Time Beauty! Azure Naturals Ocean Minerals Giveaway Time!
Azure Naturals' Ocean Minerals Products
Review and Giveaway!!
Oh SO much awesomeness! I've been trying out a bunch of new products Azure Naturals sent to me- which I LOVE and also get to share with one lucky winner!
LOOK at these beauties!!:
It's Summer Time and getting into the hottest time of the year. Since I've started working on this blog, a lot of what I have written about it my horrendous winter skin. Being that this winter was particularly brutal- I had a LOT to write about.
But, now that it's getting to the hottest part of the year- I need something lighter and fresher. In comes Azure Naturals for the win!
The Ocean Minerals Skincare line is absolutely light and summery and amazing. Let's look at all of them!
Step 1: Cleanse with Ultimate Ocean Mineral Organic Facial Cleanser!
This is a great, light and fresh cleanser. Ingredients include tea tree oil, burdock root, red clover, MSM, lavender water, witch hazel, aloe, rosehip, and many other amazing organic and cruelty free components. The cleanser is clear and has an amazing scent derived from all. You don't need very much of this cleanser at all and the pump bottle helps you get the perfect amount for a deep, rejuvenating clean face. Most important? It get's make up off super quick and easy!
Step 2: Get Your Mask On with Ultimate Ocean Mineral Seaweed Hydration Mask!:
If you follow my blog, instagram, facebook or anything at all- you know I LOVE masks! And this one is amazing!! The Seaweed Hydration Mask's ingredients includes Seaweed, Aloe, MSM, Irish Moss, Spirulina, Kaolin and Smectite clays, sunflower oil, almond oil, rice brand oil, grapeseed oil, and many other delicious components.
This mask has a color and a texture unlike most I've tried before- which I thought was crazy awesome. It dries relatively quickly but remains extremely water based. So, it gets sort of firm but remains very flexible. Doesn't dry and get crackly or itchy. So cool! It's slowly rising up the ranks of my favorite masks lists!
Step 3: Tone It Up with Ultimate Ocean Mineral Organic Facial Toner!:
I'll stop right here and say regardless of all the other awesome qualities of this toner- my favorite part is that it comes in a spray bottle. Not only is this perfect for a light summer toning mist, I don't have to use any icky cotton balls or pads that I hate. It's also great to toss in a bag and use during the day if I get gross.
This light misting toner includes delightful ingredients like Aloe, MSM, Irish Moss, Sea Kelp, Rose, Witch Hazel, and Vitamin B5. It smells awesome and won't dry your skin!
Step 4: Moisturize with Ultimate Ocean Mineral Organic Hydration Creme!:
During the summer you don't want to get bogged down with a super heavy moisturizer. Especially when you're like me (outside all day) and have to make sure you're on your sunblock game. So, this hydration cream is perfectly light and fluffy to prepare you for those hot days outside, retaining moisture while not making you feel like you have a million pounds on your face.
Ingredients include Aloe, MSM, Shea Butter, Irish Moss, Safflower Oil, Palm Oil, Hyaluronic Acid, Jojoba, Green Tea, and more! It's a great finishing touch to a beautiful skincare line that I'm falling in love with.

Van Day Grace Case Ipad Mini Case!
Van Day Grace Case Ipad Mini Case Review!
Ooooooh I got a new Ipad Case! And I really needed one too!! My poor ipad is not it's in best shape. Luca accidentally kicked it off the couch a couple weeks ago and it got a crack!
So here comes Van Day to um.... save the day with a new case!
This thing is adorable!!
Beyond being pretty, I do need something that's really durable to keep
my ipad safe. I happen to travel a lot with it for work. Which means, it
gets thrown in my bag and tossed around while traveling on the subway
and through different neighborhoods through out the day. And, this case
has really held up a lot especially with all the damage I inflict on the
poor thing. This is including the design as well!
It's also really affordable so you can get a couple different cute designs if you want to switch it up!
If you're interested in checking out Van Day's Cases, they're available on Amazon:

Starlook's Customizable Starbox July 2015
Unboxing and Review!
Ok, disclosure time. Starlook's did send me this box for free to review. And, being a huge Starlooks and Starbox fan- I said absolutely YES to a review!
To be honest, I was a little nefarious on where Starlooks was going with the Starbox change up initially. I didn't want to lose a box I love and I wasn't sure where they were going with the "gift cards." And right now, I'm really unsure where they're going with the classic/legacy box. I think that's going to be replaced too. But I have to confirm.
I was dead set on keeping the classic box until the bitter end. Until I saw the preview for the customizable and wanted EVERYTHING. So, I feel really awesome that I got the opportunity to review this.
If you aren't familiar yet, with the new customizable box you can pick 3 deluxe sample sized items and 3 gift cards.
Let's look!!:
The Haul!
1. The 3 Gift Cards I chose were:
1. $20 to Starlooks.com- which I will definitely use.
2. $15 to www.brittaambauen.com - a great jewelry company that has some really cute stuff.
3. $40 to www.inlovewithonyx.com - this stuff looks awesome!
2. Limited Edition Liquid Illuminator in High Life:
1.3 ml, listed at $10.50
Oh my god. Highlighters are my thing this year- I'm just going nuts with them. And this one is AMAZING! It's super light and has a champagne look on me. I've been hemming and hawing that I hate using the Burberry highlighter sample I love from my December 2014 Sample Society box. But this one totally trumps this and replaced it for me. I seriously love it and wish it wasn't a limited edition.
2. Limited Edition Skin Perfecting Blush in Rose Gold:
2 g, listed at $14.50
Ugh! Another limited edition! You're killing me here Starlooks! It's so hard for me to find a blush that works with my skin without me ending up looking like Bette Davis in What Ever Happened to Baby Jane. I guess that's why the customizable box is worth it. Because I am sincerely going nuts over this and the highlighter. It's gorgeous.
3. Longwear Eye Pencil in Noir:
Size unknown, listed at $10.25
Everyone else can complain about getting lots of black eyeliners in beauty boxes. I have never complained once and have no plan on complaining in the future. On top of which, I LOVE Starlooks' liners. So, I had to have this one. It goes on super smooth, it high pigmented, and lasts. But, right now I have Perversion opened- so I'll save this little guy for later. It's actually a great vacation sized liner as I consistently pack too much make up when I go away!
The Final Verdict!
Box Value: Not counting the gift cards, the make up in this box is $35.25.
Box Score: 10/10
Final Thoughts: Honestly, I am SO happily surprised with my first Starbox customizable box. This has completely changed how I was initially feeling about the change over. The gift cards are a pretty awesome idea. The value of the make up in the box alone is a win. But, I really REALLY love the customizable options. I am 3 for 3 here on these items. The highlighter and blush are absolutely gorgeous and are spot on with items I would actually want to have and use. The eyeliner is perfect. I couldn't be happier with my first customizable Starbox experience. Total Rainarella thumbs up!

Starlook's July 2015 Classic Box
Unboxing and Review!
Hey there! My Starbox came. I'm a little confused where Starlooks is going with their subscriptions, but I have a feeling this is going to be the last classic box I'm getting. It appears they're being discontinued? I'll have to inquire about that!
I only got 3 items and didn't get a menu with this box :(
But, let's hop in!:
The Haul!
1. Sculpt & Blush Brush
Full Sized, Listed at $28.00
I will never complain about getting a new tool in a beauty box and Starlooks always seems to deliver in my Starbox. So, this is definitely a win for me!
2. Infinity Eyeliner in Milky Way:
Full Sized, Listed at $16.00
So, I got one of these in one of my previous Starboxes- in Stardust. I LOVED that liner and this one seems really awesome too. It's super pigmented, soft, and really bright. LOVED getting another one of these.
3. Lip Pencil in Roseate:
Full Sized, Listed at $13.00
This item was kind of a let down. First, even though the color is very nice- I don't use lip liner. Second, I already received this color! Uh oh!! That's kind of a waste for me!
The Final Verdict!
Box Value: $57.00
Box Score: 6/10
Final Thoughts: I'm more upset that I don't really know what's going on with Starlooks right now in regards to the Classic box. It appears that you can't sign up for it online anymore. So, I think they're doing away with it. So confusing! I also wasn't too pleased to get an exact repeat item. I guess time will have to tell.
What do you think of the July 2015 Classic Starbox?

Ipsy August 2015: Prep School Sneak Peek!
Ipsy is rolling out their August 2015: Prep School Glambag Sneak Peeks!
Here's the first ones I've seen:
The email said every Ipster will be receiving ONE of these items.
These *seem* to be:
*I'm not sure of the shade*
I'm really unsure about a lot of the shades right now- so sorry about that.
Thoughts: Honestly, it's kind of a drag to only be getting 1 out of these 8/9 items. And, that worries me for what can potentially be in the rest of the bag. I'm really only interested in the Trust Fund, Too Faced, Cover FX, and maybe the Doll 10 items. And, I'll be completely bummed out if I don't get to try those and get another Hikari item or the Bellapierre that I already got in my Glossybox a few months ago.
What do you think?

Vivree Silicone Tongs Set
Vivree Silicone Tongs Set Review!
I have another funny story for everyone About how these tongs saved my sanity the other day.
I feel like this would be better than just the usual review to give everyone a laugh instead of just another boring old review.
I've always meant to buy myself some kitchen tongs. I mean, who can't think of a million uses for them right? But, for some odd reason, I never got around to get myself one. So, of COURSE I jumped at a chance to get not only one- but a pair!
Check 'em out:
Now, these tongs are simply one of the BEST items I have ever had the opportunity to review for ONE reason.
Last weekend, I cleaned and reorganized all my beauty products in my bathroom. That is not a small feat and took me hours. A few days later, I started taking a new medication for something. I don't do well on meds. My system is really sensitive and even things as innocuous as antibiotics can give me weird dreams and other weirdness.
The first time I took the medication, I woke up in the middle of that night to use the bathroom. Blocking my way to the bathroom was a GIANT water bug right on the bathroom door. I am not even joking. We get maybe one water bug/roach a year and it's been humid and gross. So, I guess the time had come.
I was NOT happy. By the time I had woken my fiance to take care of the situation, the bug was NO where to be found. This giant 2 inch monster of a situation had completely vanished.
The next morning, my fiance tentatively asked me if I had maybe been hallucinating from this medication. Honestly, I worried about that too...
Come three days later. As I take my moisturizer from my skincare box in my bathroom, I am graced with the presence of the corpse of the missing monster water bug in the box. There was some horror film level screaming that went on when I didn't quite realize it was dead. The neighbors probably thought I was being murdered.
After sending my fiance a picture of my "hallucination" - here's where these magically tongs enter the picture.
Yeh, there was NO way I was reaching my hand in that box to take out the skincare products in the off chance I touched this thing. I also wasn't about to dump a box full of Elizavecca, Skinceuticals, Benefit, and other brand named items.
So, after running around my house like a wacky waver for a while, my eyes chanced upon these guys and I knew what I had to do! Filling a bowl with a whole bunch of warm water- I slowly took everything out of the box with the tongs and placed them in the bowl to sanitize them.
The tongs have some awesome grip! Neither they nor I touched the roach. And they saved the day!
I'm still SO grossed out by the situation. But, at least I know those pills didn't make me crazy pants.
So, onto the other awesomeness of the Vivree Silicone Tongs set.
First, as you can see from the picture above, the set comes with 2 tongs: one 9 inch and one 12 inch. The silicone is super malleable which, I feel is a lot less cumbersome than an all metal tong which items can kind "pop" out of. It's a much better grip.
What I also think is pretty awesome is that they have a little hook on the back that you can pull to lock the tongs closed for easier storage.
They're heat resistant up to 480 degrees. And, I have found them super easy to clean.
Other than owing my sanity to these tongs, I really feel like they're a great product in general.

FSL Xylem Wood Earbuds
FSL Xylem Wood Earbuds Review!
So, funny story. Once upon a time, I used to have nice things. Things I loved and cherished and often times kept lying around. Then, I adopted this little guy:
That's Luca- my min pin. He's the light of my life and a stealth little thief. We adopted him from a bad puppy mill type situation, so off the bat- training was not the easiest thing. He is REALLY smart but incredibly defiant. Not unlike most min pin's. Here, we had just caught him in the act of stealing an apple from the bag apples we had JUST brought in from apple picking. Crafty.
One of Luca's favorite things is to eat headphones. He's like Liam Neeson in Taken. He has a particular set of skills to find headphones and eat them. It has taken me a lot longer to figure out that he'll steal what's ever not nailed down than I care to admit.
So, I am always on the hunt to find new, inexpensive but good quality headphones. Because I know, know matter WHAT I do, they will eventually meet a bitter end.
So, I was really excited to try a new set of headphones and these look really cool!
First off, I want to point out that the FSL headphones come with a pouch. This may be just what I need to thwart the little man! Although this is extremely convenient in avoiding get the headphones tangled up in the bottom of my bag. Just have to roll them up, place them in the pouch and voila! No mysterious knots and tangles.
Also- the headphones and chamber are actually wood instead of metal. I've never seen that and it's kind of cool. Besides looking cool, this is eco-friendly and kind of amplifies the bass heavy music that I like (being a Tool fan). The sound from these little guy is great!
In addition, the headphones have a volume control. Which, tends to help a lot when I'm in the office and Slayer randomly pops up in my shuffle...
Finally, I know that this is really inane. But, I am really happy that the headphones included different sized ear bud parts. I must have abnormally small ear canals because a LOT of headphones either don't fit in my ears or become incredibly painful after a while. And I am always glad to have a choice of different sized "squishies" that I can choose one that actually fits my ears. I don't understand why this isn't normal practice for many earbuds.
Overall, I'm extremely pleased with these ear buds. They're inexpensive, eco-friendly, cool looking, and the sound is great! I really like the fact that they come with additional items: the carrying case to prevent my dog from getting to them as well a preventing tangling and the varied sized ear part. And the wood is so cool looking and different!
I highly recommend these!

ColourPop Haul!
So, I've been hearing a lot about ColourPop recently. So, of course I had to check them out.
If you're unfamiliar with Colorpop, you can check out their website here!
What really drew me to the site (besides trying awesome new makeup) was the fact that a lot of their colors reminded me of throw back Urban Decay colors before they were bought by L'Oreal.
On top of that. This stuff is CRAZY inexpensive! The shadows are $5.00, Lip items range $5.00-$7.00, highlighers/blushes/bronzers are $8.00. HOLY CRAP! I want everything!
AND you get free shipping over $30! What's to lose?
Being the crazy eyeshadow lady I am, I started out my ColourPop experience with a whole bunch of new eyeshadows!
OOOOOH LOOK!
The box came super safely packed, which impressed me a lot. NOTHING is getting broken in there! Also included was a thank you note and instructions on how to use the shadow.
What I thought was really important that they stressed to make sure the shadows were tightly closed after every use so that they don't lose their creaminess. Oh and look! Cruelty Free!
Let's See What I Got!
The Top Row, Left to Right: Cowboy, Liberty, and Chipper
The Bottom Row, Left to Right: Ice, Dare, and Slave2Pink
Some close ups...
Ok. So. Honestly. I am IN LOVE.
My favorite colors from this are Cowboy (as crazy matte lavender) and Liberty. Let me tell you HOW MUCH I freaked out that Liberty is the absolute perfect dupe for Urban Decay's discontinued Strip eyeshadow that was my every day color.
MAJOR freak out.
I pretty much love ALL the colors. I was hoping Chipper was a little more minty looking than it actually is when I apply it. But, they do have other matte mints I may try.
The shadows are like little pillows. They're super creamy and soft and HIGHLY pigmented. They go on SO easily. I am truly amazed I can get such high quality products at crazy low prices. A. MAZED.
Here Are Some Swatches:

LOOK AT THE SHIMMER!
Final Verdict? I'm in love and will definitely be trying out a LOT more ColourPop items in the future- so look out for those unboxings! They have TONS of amazing colors and shades that you don't normally see, so I'm crazy about trying them.
