My ShopMissA Youtube Haul and Review is Live!

ShopMissA Review 2.0! $1 Products- Worth It?

Alllllllllllllllll the way back in October 2014, I randomly stumbled upon a website called ShopMissA.com. It was basically an online dollar store for accessories, beauty products, nail accessories, and make up.

I was really intrigued as everything on the site was $1 and there was a lot of fun stuff. So, I hauled away and wrote a review for everyone!

I was marginally impressed with the items I received. But, this was never a favorite site of mine. So, I didn't pay too close attention to it.

But, surprisingly, over the past month I have seen Shop Miss A pop up a lot more on social media and my old blog post has suddenly started getting views again. Crazy right?

So, I decided to do another haul to follow up on my last post to see what's up with the shop now!

Let's Take A Look!

Here's what's up!

1. It appears that ShopMissA is leaning towards more makeup as opposed to accessories. Besides the cute sunglasses (which I'm sure are not UV safe), I was extremely underwhelmed with not only the selection- but the absolute abysmal quality of the accessories. It was actually hard to find items I wanted to buy for this haul. And when I got the items I was so "meh" on them. There's cheap jewelry and there's cheap, unwearable jewelry. I REALLY liked Shop Miss A for the accessories. But, this was a huge let down.

2. They have seriously expanded their make up selection. And the quality doesn't seem bad. They generally carry companies like Kleancolor and L.A. Colors. And, I actually was REALLY impressed with the items I got. I absolutely LOVE the 2 mini eyeshadow palettes I got. And was pleasantly surprised. I didn't buy any polishes this time. But, grabbed some nail decals.

3. Although a lot were sold out, they now have sheet masks! So, I grabbed 2 to try out:

4. And, as like like time, they had a vast, wide array of false eyelashes. But now, they've added on some more basics. So, I decided to grab some nail polish removing pads and make up sponges. That's kind of awesome.

5. They also have a lot of different types of accessories now that they didn't have before. They had a whole lot of gorgeous fans. But, most were sold out in the colors I wanted. I did however pick up 2 fans to experiment with for making my bridesmaids bouquets. So, these were kind of throw aways:

Overall, I've seen a lot of changes with Shop Miss A over the past year. For one, the shipping was much less expensive and EXTREMELY quicker than it was last time. It's exciting that they have gotten more and better quality make up items in as opposed to crusty nail polish. But, I was disappointed with how much of a drop in interesting and some what passable accessories they had.

I'm not going to lie to you or myself- I'll be back there this time. What's the loss at experimenting with items when they're only $1 each?

GlamNatural's Sample Kit!

Ooooh so I don't really remember how I first came across this. But, I really loved this little sample kit I got and wanted to share with everyone!

GlamNatural's is an all natural beauty and cosmetics company that makes vegan, gluten free products without any harmful preservatives. They keep base ingredients down to only 6 items.

Currently, they have an awesome sample kit available on their website for $4.99- which basically covers the shipping and I was REALLY impressed when I got my box.

The box comes with a nice combination of 12 sample items, foundation instructions, and a product list!

Let's Take A Look!

The Haul!

1. Hydrating Face Cream (5 g):

This is a really nice sized sample! The cream is super thick and luxurious a little goes a LONG way! What an awesome start!

2. Two Finishing Powder Samples (.8 g each):

Oooh I love finishing powders especially in the summer and they sent 2!

3. Two Blush Cream Samples (.1 fl oz each):

The shades I received were Ashley, Ashley and Sun Kissed. The colors are spectacular!

4. Two Hydrating Foundation Samples (.1 fl oz each):

I received the shades Beige and Ivory. I think the Beige is way too dark for me. But, I think the Ivory may work!

5. One Concealer and One Bronzer Sample (.25 fl oz each):

Though I most likely won't use the bronzer, I received the the concealer in Ivory as well and will definitely use it!

6. Two Lip Cream Samples (.25 fl oz each):

The shades I received are Bride To Be and Poco Loco. They both look awesome. I tried Bride To Be and it is super light and shimmery!

7. One Mascara Sample (.124 fl oz):

Ooooh yay!

I really love this sample kit and I'm so happy I came across this! If you want to pick up one of your own you can do so here: http://www.glamnatural.com/GlamNatural-Sample-Kit-Prodview.html

Unboxing and Review!

I was REALLY excited for my Glambag this month! Let's hop right in!

The Haul!

1. La Fresh Group Good Night. Night Cream:
Sample Sized at 15 g, Approx. $12.00. Full Sized Listed at 50 g for $40.00

Wow! A $12 sample? That's kind of awesome. I did get the La Fresh Group Day Cream in my January Glambag and I ended up really liking it! Also I feel like La Fresh Group does foil packets right with the cool little twist off cap at the top. This is a win!

2. Skone Cosmetics Luxe Doubler Eye & Lip Pencil in Wine:
Full Sized! Listed at 4.6 g for $15.00.

This is the only item this month that I'm not too keen on. I really love the concept of this doubler. However, this really isn't my color. Too bad :(

3. Briogeo Blossom & Bloom Ginseng + Biotin Volumizing Blow Dry Spray:
Sample Sized at 1 oz, Approx. $3.50. Full Sized Listed at 5.1 oz for $18.00

So, I don't usually use products like this. But, this smells AMAZING!! I am excited to try it out!

4. Noyah Natural Lipstick in Desert Rose:
Sample Sized at 1.4 g, Approx. $5.60. Full Sized Listed at 4.5 g for $18.00

OH MY GOD! I LOVE THIS! This lipstick is absolutely gorgeous and amazing. This is easily one of my favorite things I've ever gotten from Ipsy. Even though the sample is really tiny- it's super cute and there's actually a lot of product in there. I just hope I don't lose it!

5. Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in Elegantly Wasted:
Full Sized! Listed at 15 ml for $15.00

I AM SOOOOOOOO HAPPY I got this! More than any of the other items, I was hoping to get this one the most in my Glambag. The color is gorgeous! And, if I like the formula- I think this just may be my wedding nail color!! WOOO!

The Final Verdict!
Box Value: Approx $50.00!!!
 Box Score: 10/10

Final Thoughts: WOO!!! A $50 value Glambag. I'm going to say this is my favorite Glambag ever. It's kind of just perfect for me all around! I am in love with so many of these items and I'm seriously impressed! WOW!

What did you think of the August 2015 Ipsy Glambag?
