Product Review!: Pura D'Or Hair Care Products!

Pura D'Or Hair Care Products Review!

So far, I haven't had the opportunity to review very many hair care products. Which I was really bummed about. But, my opportunity finally came. And, I am IN LOVE.

I was sent 3 products from Pura D'Or and they really are amazing.

I was really excited to try these products because I had not - ever- tried an Argan Oil based shampoo/conditioner combination. This was going to be a new experience for me! Also, Pura D'Or is cruelty free, USDA Biobased Certified, and contains no harsh chemicals.

1. Pura D'Or Premium Organic Argan Oil Based Hair Loss Prevention Shampoo:

I'm not going to lie- I was a bit nefarious about this shampoo at first. The scent reminds me of when you enter a pool area that also has a high end spa and sauna attached. I'm not sure if I'm describing that smell correctly. But, that's what I got for you.

I had to use a bit more shampoo than I expected having to. And, I had to get my hair very, very wet to get a lather going. But, once I got it going- it was smooth sailing.

Another odd thing I felt was that my hair was "too clean." I'm not sure if I'm describing this well either. But, have you ever tried a shampoo that just feels weird in your hair? I had this before when I tried a few big brand sulfate free shampoos- with disastrous results. Knots... knots for weeks. So, I was really worried.

The instructions suggest leaving the shampoo in for 2 minutes to set. And after those 2 minutes, literally all my fears were assuaged as soon as I rinsed the shampoo out. My hair already was feeling different - in a good way!

2. Pura D'Or Premium Organic Argan Oil Based Conditioner in Lavender Vanilla:

Immediately after shampooing, I of course tried the Lavender Vanilla conditioner. Being two of my favorite scents, I thought this smelled amazing and I was immediately in love.

Counter intuitively, I actually had to use less conditioner than I expected.

Like the shampoo, the conditioner instructions are to leave it in your hair to absorb for 2 minutes as well. Even though I could immediately feel how soft the conditioner was making my hair, I decided to keep it in for about 2 minutes for my first time using the conditioner.

And holy crap! Even though I was still in the shower and my hair was still wet, I could INSTANTLY tell how soft my hair felt in comparison to how it was before I showered and after I shampooed. This conditioner is amazing!!

100% Rainarella Seal of Approval!

3. Pura D'Or Pure and Organic Argan Oil:

And finally, I received a bottle of Pura D'Or Pure Argan Oil in a cute little bag.

After shampooing and conditioning, I immediately put the Pura D'Or Shampoo and Conditioner to the test. Straight to my flat iron! Here's where I start sounding a little infomercially. I swear to you. My hair felt soft and looked more fuller, shinier, and better than it has in YEARS. Like, I'm talking in over 10 years. I was honestly floored and absolutely amazed.

That being said, I still have damage done to my hair. So, I put a couple drops of the Pura D'Or Argan Oil in midway through drying. This was a true test for me- a lot of times when I use Argan Oil on my hair I look like a drowned rat. I've complained about this before.

Nope. Not this time. Just 3 little drops added to the great shine my hair already had. I was SO happy.

Emerging from the bathroom, Pura D'Or faced it's final test. The Josh notice. And they won! Right away Mr. Unobservant mentioned how great my hair looked. YES!

Seriously, I can't say enough good times about Pura D'Or.
