Product Review!: Petunia Skincare Product Line!

Petunia Skincare Product Line Review!

So, I was given the opportunity to try some really interesting things as a late provided to me by Petunia Skincare.

I was provided with a Petunia Skincare Derma Roller, Hyaluronic Acid & Vitamin C Moisturizing Serum, and Revitalize Eye Serum!

I think the most interesting product from Petunia Skincare's Line that I got to try was their Dermaroller.

This tool, I am completely considering as just one of those "adventures in blogging type thing." First off, I would never offhandedly say "Hey, you know- I want to roll some stainless steel needles across my face. This is a good idea!"

So, I would have probably never bought this on a whim on my own.

I'm not entirely sure what my issue has been recently. But, since last year, I have been having pretty bad and painful breakouts on my chin. Which, I have never had in my entire life. And at this point in time, I'm willing to give ANYTHING a shot to help clear this up. Sometimes I think I need to exfoliate more but then I worry about clogging my pores with really gritty exfoliants. Ergo, I thought I would give this a shot- why not right?

So- this is NOT nearly as scary as it at first seemed to me. The needles almost seem like a steel version of the sticky part of velcro.

The feeling of rolling it across your face feels like an extremely light version of the "pins and needles" you may get right before your hand or foot falls asleep. It's actually kind of pleasant to me.

Basically, you roll the roller across your clean skin directly after washing 1-3 times a week, then apply different moisturizers and skin care products. I think it has helped marginally with my fine lines. But, has really made a difference with my breakouts along my chin and has helped my worst clogged pore areas around my nose.

I also got to try Petunia's Skincare Revitalize Eye Serum.

This serum is a lot thicker than many of the other eye serums that I have tried as of recent. And, for it being the dead of winter- I can totally dig that. It also has some interesting ingredients including sea kelp, vitamin C, coconut, hyaluronic acid, and pomegranate.

So, it smells kind of great! The scent almost reminds me of a green tea.

Although it is a little thicker- it goes on super smooth and you don't need to use very much at all. Initial application cools and tightens your skin. I was a bit concerned when I initially applied this eye serum. Because of the denseness of the serum, it feels a little sticky right when you apply it. Normally this is a huge "Oh no!" for me. But, it does actually absorb within seconds and leaves the delicate skin around your eyes super soft and smooth. Huge relief!

Finally, I got to try Petunia Skincare's Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C Moisturizing Serum.

This serum is SUPER thick. I'm going to say that it almost borders on a gel.

But, I really love how it smells- which I believe is the Neroli in the ingredients. It smells super floral and clean and like an amazing high end product you would find in a spa.

Being such a thick Hyaluronic Acid, I feel it is also very good for my winter skin. That being said, I have only been using it on my "problem" areas due to the thickness. This is specifically to deal with my horrible, disgusting flakiness I get around my nose and eyebrows during the infamous dry seasons.

I have to use it very sparingly- just a couple drops. But, it does absorb easily and has made a TREMENDOUS difference in revitalizing my problem areas.
